Singapore Hosts 12th Art Week: A Must-See for Art Lovers


Singapore Art Week 2024 dazzles with 150+ events, 400+ artists, exciting art fairs, and unique installations, showcasing the city’s vibrant culture.

World art enthusiasts are flocking to Singapore to witness the spectacular 12th edition of Singapore Art Week 2024, an event that has become a magnet for those passionate about the arts. From January 19 to 28, the city is abuzz with over 150 art events, attracting visitors from around the globe to experience the diverse artistic showcase featuring more than 400 esteemed local and international artists.

This year, the National Arts Council, supported by the Singapore Tourism Board, has outdone itself in organizing an array of dynamic art fairs, including S.E.A. Focus and ART SG. The event also highlights Light to Night Singapore, along with a multitude of enthralling experiences at various museums and galleries, complemented by enlightening talks and tours.

The festival is enriched by an assortment of public art installations, exhibitions, and gallery showcases, making it a comprehensive cultural feast. Key exhibitions such as “OBSESSIONS” at Beauty World Centre, “INTERWOVEN” at Telok Kurau Studios, and “Crossroads: Random Access Memory,” showcase the talents of artists like Syahrul Anuar and Priyageetha Dia. The innovative “Print<‘Calligraphy.Motifs’>” exhibition and “THE 5TH VH AWARD Exhibition” celebrate new media artists in Asia, while “Alternative Ecology: The Community” at the Courtyard @ Objectifs and “The Sound of Sound – Colours in Dream” at Telok Kurau Studios offer unique artistic interpretations.

Public art projects like “The Everyday Vinyl – Community Collaging” engage the community creatively, and “Light to Night 2024: Reimagine” at the National Gallery Singapore provides immersive experiences.

Singapore Art Week 2024 exemplifies the city’s dynamic arts scene and rich multicultural heritage, further cementing Singapore’s status as an alluring destination for leisure and business.
