Qatar Airways Disclose 72-hour stopover program details

More than 45 million travelers passed through Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar in 2023, with Qatar Airlines offering flights to more than 170 destinations.

Qatar Airways is offering Canadian travellers:

Qatar Airways offers Canadian travelers a gateway to exploring Qatar’s fascinating landscapes and cultural treasures. With Doha strategically positioned as a transit hub between North America and Asia and Africa, visitors can now extend their trip in Qatar up to 72 hours.

At the heart of Qatar Airways’ stopover program are diverse packages tailored to the diverse tastes and preferences of short-stay guests.

From luxury hotel stays to intensive city tours, people traveling through Doha are greeted with a variety of perks and privileges. Whether you’re exploring the souks of Souq Waqif or embarking on a desert safari adventure, Qatar’s offerings promise unforgettable five-star experiences at a fraction of the cost.

How to book a Qatar stopover program

You can book your client’s stopover with the 24-hour check-in hotels through the Discover Qatar’s portal only after booking the air segments with Qatar Airways.

There are 5 tiered options (net fares) to choose from when booking a stopover:

Standard (includes four-star properties like IFG, Hilton and Marriott, starting at $14USD per night); Premium (includes five-star properties like IHG, Hilton, Marriott, Dusit, Accor and Tivoli Hotels, starting at $23 USD per night); Premium access with beach (includes five-star properties like Marriott, Dusit, Crowne Plaza, Tivoli Hotels starting at $30 USD per night); Luxury (includes five-star properties like Westin, Park Hyatt, Fairmont, Rixos, Hilton, Dusit and InterContinental, starting at $81 USD per night); All-inclusive luxury (includes five-star properties like Dusit, Le Meridien, Westin, Marriott and the W Hotel, starting at $144 USD per night).
