Holland America Line adds 4 Legendry Voyages for 2025-2026

Holland America Line introduces four new “Legendary Voyages,” including a rare 45-day round-trip from New York to the Mediterranean and a unique 28-day exploration of the South Pacific Islands.

As travelers’ interest in longer cruises grows, these regional voyages, launching in 2025 and early 2026, offer guests the opportunity to forge deeper connections and engage more closely with the destinations they visit.

Overnight stays include Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy; Istanbul, Türkiye; and Alexandria (Cairo), Egypt. Guests benefit from late departures from Gibraltar, UK; Barcelona, Spain; Istanbul and Alexandria.

“Given the popularity of our 2024 Ultimate Mediterranean cruise, it is clear that guests are interested in exploring the region in greater depth,” said Beth Bodensteiner, Chief Commercial Officer of Holland America Line. “The ability to offer this round-trip cruise from New York City in 2025 offers people in North America a rare opportunity to enjoy the Mediterranean and our award-winning service without a long flight.”

Legendary voyages

For a unique island-hopping adventure: Guests can board Noordam on January 4, 2026 for the legendaryThis carefully planned itinerary travels from Sydney, Australia to Auckland, New Zealand, visiting 20 ports in seven countries. The ship will sail along the east coast of Australia, with four calls in Queensland and an opportunity to snorkel at the famous Great Barrier Reef. The ship will then call at the conflict islands en route to Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, Vanuatu, Fiji and Tonga before making three calls to New Zealand.

Other newly announced legendary voyages 2025-2026:

Cruisers who enjoy relaxing days at sea combined with visits to some of the world’s most beautiful islands have two legendary voyages to choose from in 2025 and 2026:

The legendary 27-day South Pacific Crossing voyage aboard Noordam departs October 12, 2025 and sails from Seattle, Washington to Sydney. The ship will cross hemispheres and call at nine ports in the Pacific Ocean, including four in the island nation of Fiji. An overnight stay and late departure from Honolulu, Hawaii provides additional time to experience the city’s culture, cuisine and history.

The 36-day legendary “South Pacific Crossing” voyage aboard Noordam starts on March 15, 2026.

On the journey from Sydney to Seattle, the ship explores 17 ports in New Caledonia, Vanuatu, Fiji, Tonga, Tahiti, the Cook Islands and Hawaii Overnight stays in Papeete, Tahiti; and Honolulu, along with late departures from Honolulu and Kona, Hawaii.

The four new Legendary Voyages join eight previously announced itineraries offered in 2025 and 2026.
